Creative Writing - Object: A cup

I am thinking a topic to write and get to writer's block. So, I am thinking a way to get through it. Instead of looking for inspiration, I will just use an object around me and be creative with it.

Cup is mainly used for holding a liquid. It is a symbol of staying calm and make something useful (because if you don't have a cup, the water will splash around and you cannot drink it.)

A cup represents a limited soul that it only can contain a limited amount of water. If you want to grow, you must expand your soul that you can contain more water.
You need to expand it to the limit of the river.

A cup holding coffee is like a head holding a lot of ideas.
A cup holding salt is like a soul feeling betray and whoever has it cannot drink it and he or she cannot give it to someone else (because there is distrust).
A cup holding orange juice is like the first date you met your significant (I like OJ).
A cup holding tea and honey is the time I get sick.

A cup holding nothing is the time I feel empty and sad.
A cup filling up half is the time to be persistent and perseverance to complete fill it.
A cup I d.r.o.p is the time I broke up.

A water was not contained in the cup, but flashing around on my table is the time somebody I love passed away.
