Notice me. Like me. Touch me.

Man. Seth Godin is a brilliant psychology marketer. He writes something and it resonate with me immediately

"What do customers, friends, the socially networked, users, neighbors, classmates, servers, administrators, employees, and maybe even brands, want?
notice me
like me
touch me
do what I say
miss me if I'm gone"

I (kind of) disagree on the part do what I say. However, I agree most parts. Love and connection are two things people are dying for.

Have you ever make somebody special by going to them (plus for a smile) and opening up the conversation?
Have you ever put your phone on "fire" by many hours talking to your significant?
Have you ever gone to places that you don't want to go, but your friends (or boy and girl friends) keep asking for it because they want to go so much (because they love you so much)?
...

We all need love and connection. I mean REAL AUTHENTIC LOVE and CONNECTION. Not FAKE. The special thing I love in US is people giving hug to each other. I was shy and some of my first hugs are really odd because the Vietnamese culture is more expressing your love in a private way. Gradually, I have learnt the value of love expression and hugs through all my American friends and I really appreciate it.

If you hug somebody and
you really mean it
(with love and care),

you will be missed
when you are gone...
