Looking Deeper in People Lives Vs. Being Selfish and Move Forward
I have a great conversation with a close friends about how people around us are living. I feel I am selfish and sometimes, I am not patient enough to look deeper in people's lives around us. I only recognized one thing everybody is suffering and what we are missing in this chaotic world of greed, selfishness, and suffer are little time to think about other people.
Am I wrong to be selfish to just see what I can do and accomplish for my life? Am I wrong to be ignorant with people around me? I mean when I ask them, "How are you?", they still answer, "I am fine" and I just repeat it again with other people and I receive the same answer again and again. However, in fact, people are suffering in different level and sometimes, we just ignore it.
Modern human beings are getting lost to be productivity and consumerism. They work hard and then, they spend money to collect toys and trash. We are hardly sharing time with someone else, except our family. In addition, we are living in the cycle of society to climb up the ladder of status, richness, and lifestyle.
How can we find happiness, if all thing we are trying to do just benefit for ourselves?
How can we live in peace if we cannot forgive people's fault? Or if we cannot say sorry?
How can we balance our work and family, if we have a great goal to achieve and we have very little time on this earth?
I don't know and I don't have an answer. I just hope somebody reading this blog can give me not an answer, but a guidance, or maybe share their experiences to deal with their selfishness and how they find happiness.
